T O P I C R E V I E WswampysToday I cried in my psychiatrist's office because I was mad at him. When people teased me in school it was usually really hard for me to hold back my tears. But I don't cry a lot. Like, it seems like it takes a lot for me to cry on my own and I can't fake cry.I hate crying in front of other people so I know it's not an attention thing.Doesn't a 12th house moon make me secretive about my feelings? I don't know why I would ever let a person see me cry.k e p h x iIndication for reserved feelings go from the general to the detailed aspects. Like, I'm really reserved because I'm a Scorpio with a Virgo Moon, so. But, I remember reading one of my aspects that said I was really reserved with my emotions.------------------Rising: VirgoSun: _____Moon: _____Barbee quote:Originally posted by swampys:Today I cried in my psychiatrist's office because I was mad at him. Crying is not something that you want to hold inside all of the time. Your psychiatrist's office is a safe environment for you to cry, and it's better for it to happen there then in front of the people tormenting you. When you hold all of your emotions inside of you all the time, you are more likely to lose control of them at odd moments (like overreacting and blowing up at some small incident that occurs). Regardless, my mother cries when she is really angry and so does one of my close friends. It's actually not that uncommon. Do you have heavy water aspects? I theorize that it sometimes comes with Mars in water signs or other certain water rising signs (both of them have Cancer rising). To be honest, I sometimes wonder if they cry because their anger is also tied in with their inner hurt. However, it's also a loss of control or loss of face, so that could cause an extreme reaction like crying, I think. Crying is vulnerability so it is scary, but it's worse to stifle your emotions so much that you forget how to really positively emotionally communicate with others. You can't stop yourself from exclusively feeling one emotion. When you try to numb one emotion, you numb all of them, including the positive ones. Better to work through the emotion with someone you trust who is supportive of you. swampys quote:Originally posted by enchantress299:Take it from me hon... My Mars is in Capricorn in the 6th house and my Ascendent is Leo.OrangeI usually only cry in front of someone when i am mad at them, not when i am hurt. I have a Leo Mars, maybe thats why. I hate my pride being hurt and it causes an angry tear fest. Its funny because I'd be shouting and crying at the same time. While throwing stuff at them.
